Anti Cellulite Diet
Cellulite is one problem that many women want to get rid of. It is that bumpy, coarse-looking, cottage cheese jiggling fat just beneath the skin. It actually is just normal fat, but looks bumpy because it's trying to push through the thigh's connective tissues. There are certain factors that contribute to the presence of cellulite in the body. They are: age, body type and genes.
Is there a way to get rid of cellulite?
One of the best way to reduce cellulite is by following a good anti cellulite diet combined with plenty of exercises.
Here are some tips on making a good anti cellulite diet work:
*** Avoid refined foods and food additives. Junk food, foods that contain refined flour, and refined sugar. If you are on an anti cellulite diet, completely stay away from junk food and processed foods.
*** Alcohol. Too much alcohol consumption may affect your liver. Liver removes harmful wastes since it is a natural detoxifier. And if the liver does not work as effectively as it should be, no matter how much good food you eat, your anti cellulite diet will not work. Another reason why you should not consume alcohol regularly is it has calories, and once consumed, they are stored as fats and contributes to the body’s manufacturing of cellulite.
*** Saturated fats. If you are including animal meat in your anti cellulite diet, remove the fats. The only fat that you can eat are fatty fish oils.
*** Caffeine. Caffeine affects cellulite in two ways. It is actually a great ingredient for anti cellulite creams. Caffeine based creams, when massaged on the skin, pulls water away and stimulates blood flow and circulation. But if caffeine is present in drinks such as in coffee and soda, it is harmful to your body if you are trying to reduce cellulite. If you are on an anti cellulite diet, avoid drinking beverages with caffeine.
On the other hand, here are some foods that you can add to your anti cellulite diet:
*** Lean meats. Meats are high in protein and they help eliminate cellulite. Fish, poultry, and steaks are all good as long as you do not eat the fat. An easy way to do this is to get meat with the fat already removed, meaning, get the leanest cuts and chicken without the skin.
*** Fresh fruits and vegetables. Choose fruits and vegetables that are rich in antioxidants. Fruits such as apples, oranges, lemons, and vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, and other green vegetables are rich in antioxidant. These fruits and vegetables flush away toxins and fats.
*** Water. Water cleanses the body and detoxifies it. For an effective ant cellulite diet, drink up to two liters of water every day to flush out toxins from the body. Water is the best way to hydrate skin, too. Healthy diet will result in healthy and good looking skin which in turn will help minimize the formation of cellulite.
*** Fat-free dairy products. Yogurt and cottage cheese are rich in essential amino acids without the usual fats from dairy products. Amino acids are good for burning fats, thus, helping get rid of cellulite.
*** Fish. Fish that is rich in fats, especially omega-3 fatty acids and other kinds of oil are good in keeping the sin healthy. Salmon is a fatty fish, rich in omega-3 and it is a good addition to your anti cellulite diet.
There isn't an instant fix or a magic pill to take to get rid of cellulite. What works is a good anti cellulite diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables plus lean meats. Lots of water to hydrate and detoxify the body works wonders, too. Combined with plenty of exercise to tone the body, you have a much better chance of saying good bye to cellulite than relying on expensive treatments alone!
